Open to all students in the Mifflin and Juniata County School Districts, the Juniata Valley Striders Track & Field and Cross Country Club is for children 7-14 who are interested in track and cross country. The club meets several times a week from April through December.
All practices and meets are optional and begin at the Mifflin County Track Complex in Highland Park.
Sign up for the 2019 Juniata Valley Striders fall cross country program will be Monday, August 19th @ the old Highland Park Elementary School. Athletes will need a USATF current membership linked to the Juniata Valley Striders 08-0029 Club and a signed waiver to participate. Practice will begin the 19th for all who have their membership and a signed waiver. Practices will run from 6 – 7:30 PM at Highland Park until the loss of sunlight dictates an earlier practice time.

Track & Field
Practices will be held on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6 PM – 7:30 PM at the Mifflin County High School track.
Practices will be held at Highland Park Elementary on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 PM – 7 PM August and September, 5:15 PM-6:15 PM October, and 5 PM – 6 PM in November.
Both local and USATF competitions will be conducted during the season.
Local competition will be free with no cost involved to the athletes.
USATF competition will involve a USATF membership, uniform, and associated entry fees.
