The Juniata Valley Striders 2023 JVS Scholarship winners:

• Brant Walters, Juniata High School – Brant will be attending Juniata College
• Logan Strawser, East Juniata High School – Logan will be attending Penn State University
• Conrad Coffey, Mifflin County High School – C.J. will be attending Juniata College
• Justice Sheaffer, Mifflin County High School– Justice will be attending Juniata College

 

The JVS Running Club awards a $300 scholarship in the second semester of each recipient’s freshman year.  Scholarship recipients are selected based on the following:

• Years of cross country and/or track participation
• Years of Juniata Valley Striders Track & Field/Cross County participation
• An essay about the sports’ impact on the individual
• The athlete’s academic transcript and acceptance into a four or two year accredited post-secondary school
