About The Juniata Valley Striders
Founded in 1980, the Juniata Valley Striders Running Club has been promoting running and fitness in Mifflin and Juniata Counties through organization of and participation in hundreds of events.
We encourage running in our community by creating and organizing several fun races in the area every year and by helping out with others! In the past, we’ve been able to support our local community by offering benefits like college scholarships to graduating high school runners and members amoung many others.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in running and fitness.

Our club officers are long-time members of the Juniata Valley Striders and trusted leaders in the community. They’re passionate about helping young athletes grow both on and off the track. Attend Our Meetings
Meetings are held the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. (no meetings in December and January). When the weather is favorable, we meet at Kish Park at the pavilion closest to the playground. Our November, February, March, and April meetings are at Vince’s Pizza in Burnham.
