{"id":261,"date":"2019-03-06T11:37:39","date_gmt":"2019-03-06T11:37:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jvstriders.com\/run\/?p=261"},"modified":"2019-03-15T20:38:53","modified_gmt":"2019-03-15T20:38:53","slug":"2019-spring-jvs-track-field-sign-ups","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jvstriders.com\/run\/2019-spring-jvs-track-field-sign-ups\/","title":{"rendered":"2019 Spring JVS Track &#038; Field Sign-ups"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The Juniata Valley Striders Spring\u00a0<strong>Track &amp; Field Program will hold sign-up on Monday, March 25th at 6 PM at the MCSD Track &amp; Field Complex.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Practice will run from 6-7:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings with the first practice beginning on the first Monday in April. USATF Membership and a signed waiver are needed to participate in the program which will offer several local meets and an opportunity to participate in USATF post-season meets. USATF memberships may be obtained online at USATF.org.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program is for youth 7-14 years of age interested in Track &amp; Field (running, sprinting, hurdling, jumps, and throws). Practice involves warm up, skill development, conditioning, and warm down. Practices are not mandatory but highly recommended. We will offer several inter-squad meets (free), several local meets (with a registration fee), and USATF Competition (with competition standards and a registration fee).
